Opening Ceremony of the National Mahasintha Program for Young Preachers

This national forum builds on the Maldives' ongoing initiatives to empower young religious leaders, similar to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' continuous programs to train young preachers (khateebs). Over 700 young people have completed training batches to address the shortage of qualified individuals leading religious services and delivering Friday sermons across the atolls
