President inspects progress of Rasmalé Land Reclamation Project

President Mohamed Muizzu inspected the Rasmalé Land Reclamation and Coastal Protection Project, a large-scale initiative addressing the Maldives' housing needs, with significant progress reported across multiple sites. The project, located in K. Fushidhiggaru Lagoon, aims to reclaim 1,009 hectares to develop Rasmalé as an eco-city and allocate 15,000 plots for housing within five months, prioritizing citizens without existing housing.
