Inauguration of Hanimaadhoo International Airport

Hanimaadhoo International Airport was officially inaugurated on November 10, 2025. The inauguration ceremony was held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, and included a Maldivian A320 aircraft carrying the President. The President described the airport as a catalyst for unlocking the potential of the region. The airport features a 2,465-meter runway.
